Maddie's space
I embarked on what I considered to be a daunting project….updating my 45 year old home. I knew the house was well designed & built but it needed some pizazz to create interest for a few more years. I contacted a local granite & marble company and was put in touch with Kristi McGaugh. I was impressed from the start with this young but very sophisticated and knowledgeable lady. After viewing my home, Kristi took me shopping for countertops for my island and two bathroom vanities. The vanities were rather easy but in the kitchen we were dealing with an existing granite top and custom cabinets of northern white ash that had to blend with the new island top. Kristi introduced me to black honed granite, and I was sold.
When it came time to complete the interior of our addition – a mudroom to connect our garage to the house, we left no detail undone. Kristi was with me to make changes in a doorway that I will forever love; choose the tile for our Maddie’s shower and risers for the steps, cabinetry, sink and faucet. She convinced me to add a butcher block countertop that pulls everything together in our Pup’s room --- I mean mudroom!!
As I finished with my upgrades, Kristi continually made herself available to provide little hints to spruce up bedrooms and choose floor finishes. If you have the opportunity to work with Kristi, whether it be in the home or through her landscape business, you will enjoy every moment and will not be disappointed with your end result.
Thank you Kristi,
Dianne Cardea
